Escaped Day
I was up at 5:15 this morning, and doing something all day long, but somehow it doesn’t seem to have been a very productive day.
In the morning there was soem time scurrying around getting Kayla ready for camp and then dropping her off. After that came some homeschool for the other kids, though we took it pretty easy.
I managed a bit of work in the late morning, and then after lunch there was a 90-minute online meeting for the RailsBridge team leads. This was fun, and energizing, but it also punched a big hole in my afternoon.
Somewhere in there I had a nap, and then muddled through to dinner: chicken drumsticks, beans, mashed potatoes. Kids were happy with this although this time, when I made extra, nobody wanted seconds (whereas last time, when there were no extras, everyone was clamoring for more).
Tidied up a bit of code after dinner and called it a night.
