Suddenly Sick
I was not sleeping well, and got up around 4 this morning when I couldn’t lie in bed any longer. This let me answer minimal email and get back to work early, but it did leave me groggy and in need of a long nap later.
Much of the morning went for RailsBridge work and some tidying up on various small projects – improving my Rails template, moving a site from one server to another, writing an article. In the afternoon I got down to paying code with some other folks who were online, and we moved one of the big projects along.
I did have that afternoon nap, and then spread some more compost in the veggie garden. Now that the weather has warmed up our composter is doing a good and fast job again.
Late in the afternoon, I had a sore throat and congestion suddenly move in for the night. Ended up just snacking for dinner (Dana made some picnic dinner and watched a movie with the kids), and stayed up long enough to read bedtime stories before I called it a night.
