Grinding Along
Most of today just went for grinding along on a few code projects. There are a couple where we have to execute and deliver this month, and at least one is behind schedule. I’m still a “lead by example” kind of manager (which may be a failing), so I rolled up my sleeves and wrote some of the tricky code today.
Somewhere in there I also found time to do a tiny bit of work in the somewhat neglected garden, eat a few meals, and cook some salmon for dinner. Dana went out to visit with the neighbors tonight – an activity that holds utterly no attraction for me – so I put the kids to bed and ultimately called it an early evening myself.
