Mike's Journal

It was another day of mostly cranking on code. It was also Adam’s actual 10th birthday (how did THAT happen?), but as we’ve had several days of celebration this was pretty low key. He did have birthday cake for breakfast.


Meanwhile, I was knee-deep in postgresql issues most of the day. Dana took Adam and Lindsey off to the Chunjido kickathon, where they had a good time and raised some money.

For dinner, we had cheeseburgers along with fresh asparagus – an odd combo, but one that the kids enjoyed. No, the asparagus was not on the burgers.

Started a new Oz book at bedtime: Grampa in Oz, which I had a bit of trouble locating in hardcover. At the rate we’re going we should have the whole series in another two years or so.
