Normal Day
Inasmuch as we have regular school days, we had one today. Kids all did well, Adam started in on a new geometry book, we had our usual mix of math and science and reading and history and whatnot. I’ve also started the kids on some light exercises for PE, and amazingly enough it’s become one of their favorite classes.
After school (well, even during school) it was back to the grind for me. I did some coding on four different projects today, picking up loose ends from subcontractors to try to keep clients happy. This was interrupted by my usual jack-of-all-trades assortment of chores, including changing passwords on a bunch of email accounts because someone got fired and researching terms of service for some of our web partners.
Adam had his first Webelos meeting of the year today and came out happy and excited, though I’m not at all sure what they did there. Afterwards the two of us buzzed by the grocery store, and then Dana took Adam and Lindsey to karate. I fed the other two and kept the code balls in the air as well as I could until we all had a late bedtime.
