Coding Again
Woken up at 4:45 by noisy children – Thomas and Kayla, who’d had a “sleepover,” were down in the kitchen getting breakfast. I joined them and spent a few hours trying to keep them reasonably quiet so other people could sleep. (They had naps in the afternoon, not surprisingly).
Today, I made up for yesterday by keeping butt in chair and mostly just writing code. I took a few breaks for things like tidying in the garage and working on a Space Derby rocket, but by and large I just concentrated. Things are coming along on the biggest project, though as always there is more work to do than time to do it in (or skills to do it with, for that matter).
For dinner, I roasted a chicken and served it along with rice, peas, and salad. A decent little Sunday night family dinner (and with all the running around, we get few enough family dinners these days).
