Muddling Through
Still under the weather, still working. It was actually a fairly productive day for me, all things considered. It helped that we gave the kids Labor Day off from school (except for catching up on current events and talking about the labor movement).
Most of my subcontractors were back to work today as well, and most of my clients were off, which made for a nice climate of getting things done. Too bad that’s not the normal state of affairs.
Dinner tonight was baked ham, boiled potatoes, and plain old peas, along with some salad. Amazingly enough there were no serious kid complaints, though Kayla eyed the peas suspiciously.
And we started a new Oz book at bedtime: The Lost King of Oz, number 19 in the series.
