Laser Tag
First up this morning, after breakfasts and email, was a trip to the dentist. Today’s fun was getting a tooth with an old filling ground down to get a new crown. It’s never very fun having a grinder in your mouth, but at least our dentist is competent and gets the work done quickly and with a minimum of pain. The bad part of the tooth got removed, wax impressions made for the crown, and a temporary put on in a bit over an hour.
Went back home and did a little work with the kids on school, though we kept it easy. I was achy in my jaw fort he rest of the day from the anesthetic injections, but otherwise got through fine.
There was a bunch of work to do today, as well as a few phone meetings to attend, so I stayed busy through dinnertime. Then I piled all the kids in the truck and headed out. First stop was to drop Adam at the local laser tag place, where his Cub Scout den was meeting. Then I took the other kids out to McDonalds for dinner, after which we did some shopping and some driving around until it was time to pick Adam up and take him home. The kids enjoyed trying to confuse the GPS by turning at random.
Put the kids to bed, read for a bit, and called it a night.
