Anniversary
Adam had a fairly rough night last night; he woke up around 4AM in pain from his eye. I got him settled back down with another dose of ibuprofen, but at that point I was awake myself so I got out of the tent and answered email for a bit. Lindsey was up before 5, and the boys around 6:30, to start the day.
Adam was still hurting, so we elected to break camp and head home. This put us back at the house some hours before we were expected, but no one minded getting the family back together. He was feeling better by then, and with some ups and downs made it through the day OK.
Dana and I did a bit of work this morning, then called in the babysitter and headed out for dinner in the evening, because today was our 11th wedding anniversary – and yes, we’re going as strong as ever. We had dinner at the local Outback and then spent a while browsing in the bookstore before heading home.
