Play Time
Schoolwork this morning was limited to a dress rehearsal of the kids’ Gilgamesh play. That went well, and they were happy to have the rest of the morning off. Meanwhile I got back to work, and had the most productive day I’d had all week. It helps to not be running all over creation for a change.
Of course inevitably a bunch of my productivity was on the phone; I’m doing more managing and less coding than I used to. But that’s where the money is right now.
I did run out to the grocery store for a few things in the afternoon. Then there was a break in the evening; Dana had some friends over, and the kids performed their play for a live audience. Everyone had a good time, and I was happy to see that we had no attacks of stage fright. Definitely a successful homeschool experience.
