Solid Work Day
Today was mainly just a solid working day for me. I did a lot of project management and even managed to write some code – though the latter is clearly less of an important activity for me these days than it used to be. I like to keep my hand in though.
Dana spent midday at a friend’s high school graduation. I was just as happy to skip that experience and stay home with the kids.
I did manage to get outside for a bit of gardening. In another few years this yard might look good. We’re actually going to get some apples and grapes this year, I think.
I made chicken and rice and green beans for dinner. At bedtime, we cracked a new Oz book: The Magic Book of Oz, first of the Ruth Plumly Thompson books. Kids are giving it a careful listen to see if they approve of the new author.
