Slow Day
It was a pretty light day for me today – which is to say I only spent about six hours on work, the usual combination of coding and project management. I even snuck in an hour or two this morning to work on the new web site for our Cub Scout pack, which is now in my (hopefully capable) hands.
Dana was out at midday to attend a friend’s high school graduation. I was just as glad not to have any such obligation. I made a quick run to Wally World myself for some more bedding plants for our front garden and a few other odds and ends.
Other than that, I was mostly at my desk, but I had some long periods of not concentrating very hard on work. Part of this was a frustrating negotiation with one customer, part was just too many days in a row of focus. Anyhow, I got through the day fine.
For dinner I made ham en croute (the kids had recently watched a video with a similar recipe, so they enjoyed the concept even if they were lukewarm on the food), couscous, and fresh swisschard. After dinner was just more of the same.
