Endodontist
Today started out with a visit to the endodontist, bright at early at 7:45 AM. The point of this was to get the root canal done on that tooth that I’d had a temporary crown put on recently. This was accomplished, though the process of numbing everything up took forever; he finally had to resort to drilling holes in the gum to inject anesthetic straight on the roots, which was decidedly no fun. Otherwise it was a fairly uneventful procedure, and I watched mindless TV for distraction while it was underway.
Made a few stops on the way home (mail drop, pet store, pharmacy) and then tried to get a little work done. It certainly wasn’t my most effective work day either, but I got a few hours on the clock, attended three phone conferences, and got things moving along a bit better. There are still some troublesome projects in our little company, but the major ones are doing fine.
For dinner I made spaghetti with garlic bread and salad. Didn’t eat a whole lot myself, but then, I rarely eat a whole lot of anything these days.
