Blueberry Barbecue
Mostly a stay-at-home working day for me, with a few breaks. I didn’t get as many hours in as I would have liked, but I caught up on a few things, and the client-free time was much appreciated.
The kids spent the morning playing outside in the pool, and I made them up a picnic lunch, A while later, I spent my own block of outside time, harvesting the softneck garlic crop. We got a few nice heads, but much of it didn’t do exceptionally well. Still, with the amount of garlic I planted this year, even small heads will be enough to get us through the year.
There was an afternoon nap in there somewhere, followed by dinner: pan-fried pork loin slices with blueberry barbecue sauce, noodles with cheese, corn, and salads.After dinner I took time to try to whip the pile of paperwork on my desk back into shape, and made some progress.
