Busy Weekend

Another morning of bookkeeping has me closer to caught up. At least the stack of paper on my desktop is much below the level of my monitor now.

Otherwise, most of the day went for management and coding across several projects. There was only one client call today, but a great deal of discussion online with one of my dev teams as we try to solve open issues on a project that has to ship soon. I also got some time to just write code, though I get more and more convinced that will be going off my plate soon as this management load increases.

I got a bit of time out in the garden for the first time in over a week, since the chigger bites from camping have finally subsided to a merely annoying level. Adam helped me weed a bit, a job that makes him happy (and that he can perform reasonably well).

Dinner tonight was chicken quesadillas with refried beans. They were polished off quickly enough.

Minor disaster at bathtime: Thomas tried to rescue a towel from falling into the tub and ended up pulling down the towel rack instead. Well, I never liked that towel rack anyhow.
