Busy
The last few days have just been a blur of driving kids around and working. Today was a little different – it was a blur of driving kids around and catching up on email. The ship pressure remains high, and the big codebase is still being difficult, so a lot of other things – like keeping this journal up to date – have been slipping.
This morning I dropped off all the kids for their last day of camp, then swung by our insurance agent on the way home to deal with a bit of paperwork. Then it was home for a few hours of email and project management, lunch, and a bit more work. Spent a little time on the phone with a potential new contractor, since we’re still overloaded.
Early afternoon it was off to pick up the boys (Dana is healed enough to drive now, and took care of picking up Kayla) and then grocery shopping. We paused in the evening for Kayla to open birthday presents, and then had pizza delivered for dinner.
I crashed relatively early, needing to catch up on sleep.
