Been Busy
We’ve had a couple of frustrating parenting days; homeschool is not always the funnest thing in the world. But we took another crack at it this morning. It’s not like letting them be ignorant is an option. Things went OK, though there’s still room for improvement.
Much of my day went for working with the main dev team on tuning a Postgresql server for a once-again-delayed launch. But after a lot of work, there’s definitely light at the end of the tunnel. All we have to do is get there before the client runs out of patience.
There were also phone meetings with a couple of other clients, and much time spent trying to keep everyone productive. I wrote a few snatches of code in between managing, though not a heck of a lot.
For dinner, I made ham, peas, and mashed potatoes (though 3 out of 4 kids opted for leftover rice again; they still can’t get enough rice). After dinner and stories it was back to the computer for another couple of hours.
