Chinese Dinner
Another fine day of coding and phone calls, with schoolwork in between. We actually got a pretty late start on school today because Kayla had a doctor’s appointment and we waited for her to get home. But no one really minded this flexibility, and they got through work pretty easily once we got started.
I had phone meetings at 10 and 2, with a bunch of shorter calls in between. So the opportunity to write code today was fairly minimal. On the plus side, looks like we’re close to landing a support contract and I already have someone lined up to take care of it, so that’s pure profit for me.
For dinner, we went out to one of the local Chinese restaurants – the kids have been studying China with Dana, and this was in the nature of a field trip. A good time was had by all, and when we got home I had a bit of sushi for my own dinner.
Ran till about 11 tonight and then called it a day while some server updates were churning.
