Email Time
Today’s major theme was “email.” This inevitably involved a bunch of billable time, but rather than moving forward on new code requirements I devoted the bulk of the day to cleaning out my inbox, which had burgeoned to about 250 messages (pretty unusual for me; I try to keep an empty inbox). I didn’t get it cleaned out by the end of the day, but I did get down to about 15 messages, which was a vast improvement and made me feel less anxious.
On the downside, my shoulder blade was giving me some sharp pains today – which is an early symptom of Bad Things inside my cervical spine. Hopefully it will die back down instead of flaring up to acute levels again.
Dinner tonight was pork chops, noodles with cheese, and pears (a joint production of Dana and myself). After dinner, Dana took Thomas out to the movies. The plan had been to have a night out with both boys, but Adam was channeling is inner sullen teen and so lost out.
