Boy Scouts
Today was only about medium hectic on our scale. I actually got out of the house for a few minutes this morning to drop off a check at First Christian Church (the Cub Scout pack is holding our annual Blue & Gold banquet there) and do a few other errands. Then it was back to juggle email, instant messages, and schoolwork until lunchtime.
After lunch, I sat down and started coding. I wasn’t able to focus 100% due to the usual welter of interruptions, but I did move a bunch of things along.
Dinner was fried ham, couscous, and broccoli, along with salads. After dinner, Adam and I went to visit the Boy Scout troop that he’s going to join next month. He enjoyed the meeting, and I spent my time shooting the breeze with some of the other adults present. Then it was back home to put kids to bed and code for a while longer until I’d completed my tasks for the day.
