Snow Day
Lots of snow today (well, for us, anyhow – around 4 inches) and bitterly cold weather. We stayed inside and even gave the kids a rare snow day off, which they spent watching movies and playing games for the most part.
Meanwhile, the parents beavered away at code. I’m still struggling to get through all of my commitments for the week, but it’s always better to be busy than on the bench, so I’m not complaining too much. I do need to figure out how to get a break some time soonish though.
For dinner tonight I made meat balls, rice, and peas, along with brown gravy and salad. Lindsey slept through dinner (she’s been a bit under the weather) but eventually woke up to eat and then went back to bed at the same time as everyone else.
I spent a few hours on a frustrating bug after dinner, and then gave up, had a hot bath, and went to bed.
