Busy as Always
Things do not seem to be getting any less busy around here. Today I started off with a rare non-paid-work morning, getting photo galleries implemented on the Cub Scout pack website. Sometimes it’s nice to do work that you know will be appreciated and for which there isn’t any particular pressure.
By the time I was done with that, schoolwork for the morning was over and lunchtime loomed. So did the first phone call of the day. I managed to grab some late lunch before diving into an afternoon of work.
Meanwhile Dana took Kayla and Lindsey out to lunch – after having Kayla’s cast removed. She’s certainly happy to have the use of both arms back, though she says she’s never getting on a scooter again.
We had a chaotic evening – Dana took two kids to karate, I took the other two (Thomas and Kayla) with me to Cub Scout committee meeting. They were well-behaved, and were rewarded afterwards with their choice of frozen dinners (which doesn’t sound like a treat to me, but is to them). I was rewarded with 2 hours of wrestling with stupid code bugs.
