Den Meeting

Today we finally managed a meeting of our Cub Scout den, after getting snowed out three times in a row. Consequently much of my day (the part that wasn’t full of coding or homeschooling) was taken up by prepping for and then holding the den meeting.

We met at our house, which meant prep included a certain amount of cleaning as well as putting together the program. Had five of my six boys here, and they all had a good time. We worked on the science belt loop, practiced for our Blue & Gold skit, and had a certain amount of just plain running around in the mix as well.

You wouldn’t think wrangling five boys for 90 minutes would be so exhausting, but afterwards about all I was capable of was resting with a glass of wine and putting our kids to bed.
