Quick Catchup

Life continues to be highly busy, between trying to hammer out software and now getting ready for our upcoming vacation, along with all the usual chores of homeschooling and cooking and what-not. I must have taken 50 phone calls today, and spent most of my day in manager mode (which is frustrating when you’re also trying to write software).

I’m still managing time on the treadmill every morning, now with a 20-pound pack on; I’m hoping to do some hiking with the scouts this summer, though who knows if that will come together. I’m in decent shape, though I still miss working with free weights.

Kids are still enthusiastic about our upcoming trip, and the travel class is one of the highlights of their day. They’re still moving along in the other classes too, and our homeschool schedule is down to where it’s pretty routine for all of us. So no big news there.

Dana took Adam and Lindsey to karate tonight; I took the other two to the grocery store (and bought them fried chicken for dinner, a treat they both enjoyed). Then it was back to the computer for another couple of hours for me.
