Client Phone Calls
I just had time to get breakfast into a variety of children this morning when it was time for a call to a client in the UK. Of course, since our little tiny telco still doesn’t understand international direct dialing I ended up being a few minutes late for the call, but we had a productive chat nonetheless.
After that, Kayla came and saw me for morning schoolwork, and I rolled on into a somewhat belated start for the rest of my day. There was the usual amount of web stuff and writing code to keep me busy.
It being Wednesday, Dana was off to karate this evening. I made chicken and rice for dinner, and most of the kids were happy with that. Lindsey unfortunately had spotted the cookies that Dana baked, and refused her dinner, insisting on immediate dessert. This turned into a complete meltdown and a nap directly after dinner. Not much fun.
Fortunately she settled down before I needed to spend an hour on the phone to my other major client, reviewing progress on an app we hope to soft launch the middle of next month. They’re well-satisfied with the progress, which is good.
Dana came home, we did a bit of house tidying and I put the kids and myself to bed.
