Billable Hours
Lindsey had me up around 5Am today, but that ended up being a good thing: it meant that I plopped my butt in front of the computer and started cranking out code. With all the running around last week, I didn’t get in a lot of billable hours during the week.
Today somewhat made up for it, with good long coding sessions on both of my active projects and plenty of forward progress. I’m happy that I’m hitting fewer roadblocks where I just don’t know what to do, too, although I do still keep the reference manuals handy.
I eventually took a break around dinner time and made some pan-fried salmon, fried chicken (there wasn’t enough of either one to feed the whole family, so the kids got a choice), mashed potatoes, and pineapple for dinner. After dinner it was into Second Life for a brief visit, then back to coding, bookkeeping, and putting together tomorrow’s Daily Grind.
