House stuff
Due to continuing chaos we’re taking a week off from homeschooling, but I’m still working with Thomas on beginning reading. He’s up to recognizing half a dozen letters/sounds and on the verge of making the leap to stringing them together into words, so it’s worth keeping the momentum going. Besides, he still wants to do it.
After the usual morning stuff, I headed out in the truck to run a couple of errands today. This included driving over to Moscow to drop off a water sample to be analyzed, and then making stops at the bank and the grange (for probably the last sack of feed we’ll buy).
This afternoon we got a tentative closing date lined up: October 5. Earlier than originally planned, which is fine with us, since that minimizes the chance of bad weather when we’re trying to drive three vehicles cross-country. Hopefully we’ll get that firmed up over the next couple of days.
