Saying Goodbyes
After breakfasts & the usual round of morning stuff, we ran into Colfax for what might (we hope) be our last round of pre-moving errands. This included a trip to the bank to close down a bunch of accounts, and a last round of grocery shopping. One more week of nights in this house and then it’s off to hotels for a bit.
Back home, I had another day of implementing code features, interspersed with Second Life time and keeping on top of e-mail (something that won’t be nearly as easy on the road). I also started moving the things that won’t be traveling by moving van out into the RV. We’re reaching the end game here.
Dinner tonight was smoked turkey, bagels, and strawberries. There won’t be many more home-cooked meals before we switch over to TV dinners and then restaurants.
