Sneaky Virus
I was up shortly after 6, which was good because I got a call about 7AM from an advertiser in Germany. Some folks are sort of fuzzy on how time zones work. That segued fairly quickly into various early chats with other people around the company, several of whom are east of me on the map.
Dana took Lindsey off to her one year well-baby checkup this morning (summary: she’s well) and so we shuffled schoolwork schedules a bit so that I took all of he morning classes. We got through somehow, even though all of the kids are getting a bit sniffly and Dana and I are a bit under the weather ourselves. Nothing major, but some sort of virus is hitting us all, I think.
I spent much of the day reading documentation for the next bit project Adaptive is tackling. It was mind-numbing.
For dinner, I made mini-hamburgers, noodles and gravy, corn, and potato skins. Everyone ate, although Kayla for some reason rebelled at the noodles of all darned things. I dread getting two more kids through this stage.
After dinner the kids and I spent some time making a card to give to mom tomorrow. Then it was bathtime and bedtime.
