Wild Children
I spent the first part of my morning fighting with some software that just plain would not install properly on the Mac. Unfortunately I’m still at the point where I can get stuck on that platform and not know what the next troubleshooting step should be. Fortunately it was software that I didn’t really need anyhow.
Kayla finished another reading book today during our homeschool time. She continues to improve by leaps and bounds, and only needs help on a few words every couple of pages now on 2nd grade level books. Even better, she enjoys reading, and is at the point where she points out words on boxes and jars and pretty much anything else nearby.
After another boring Microsoft conference call, I had a routine Monday (which meant primarily answering e-mail). Dana went off to run some errands and go to her karate class in the evening. The kids and I had TV dinners for dinner, except for Kayla, who was once again Not Eating in the way that young children have.
After dinner I managed some more work on my current Rails application and noodled around with the scripting language inside of Second Life, where I think I see some business opportunities. Adam and Kayla got completely wild, and I finally sent the two of them to bed when they started throwing things around downstairs. So Thomas had bedtime story all to himself.
